Ex-Lightning Forward Signs With New Club

Former Tampa Lightning forward Pierre-Edouard Bellemare has signed a deal with HC Ajoie of the National League in Switzerland. The news comes after the Colorado Avalanche recently released the veteran forward before the start of the season after he previously signed a professional tryout (PTO).

Bellemare played two seasons in Tampa Bay, scoring 13 goals and 33 points in 153 games. The 39-year-old forward was a physical force for the Lightning during the 2021-22 playoff run that saw them ultimately fall to the Avalanche in the Stanley Cup Final.
