Ex-Lazio player Marco Parolo: “Verona’s second goal was valid.”
Among the many horrors seen yesterday in Verona there is also Magnani’s goal, which according to the rules should have been disallowed.
For many, almost for everyone.
But not for the former Lazio player Marco Parolo who, live on DAZN, explained Marcenaro’s choice to make the goal stand despite the clear foul on Roma defender Evan Ndicka.
“The goal was valid,” he said.”
“If I don’t see intentionality I have a hard time disallowing such a goal,” added Parolo.
“Magnani’s gesture is consistent with the movement, the rotation of the body,” he concluded.
