Everybody thinks these $27 lace-up mesh heel sandals are Bottega — and I just let them believe it

When it comes to serving straight looks, I stand by the belief that fun shoes make the outfit. Whether I’m wearing a colorful dress, jeans and a white tee or a simple all-black ensemble, bold shoes have always been the cherry on top for a balanced look — and I always get tons of compliments on them.

Quick Overview

My favorite bold shoe of the moment? The trending Bottega Veneta Stretch Square-Toe Ankle-Strap Mesh Pumps. Fair warning: If you’re looking for flat sandals, these definitely aren’t it.

Available in a ton of bright colors and featuring a leather sole, unique netted upper design, self-tie ankle straps and a classic stiletto heel, these Bottega sandals can seriously go with any outfit. It’s so easy to see why the stilettos are the “It Girl” shoe of the summer and beloved by celebs.

The unfortunate catch is that the sandals are $1,100.

It's easy to see why both celebs and normies are obsessed with these shoes.

Look, I’m not above splurging when it comes to luxury fashion — especially shoes and handbags — but it can be super hard to justify the, ahem, major price tags. That’s why I’m so obsessed with the expensive-looking Milanoo Mesh Heels Lace Up Stiletto Heel Sandals.

Similar to the Bottega sandals, the Milanoo sandals have a bold square toe, tapered stiletto heel and delicate wrap-around ankle straps. Both shoes give off a sexy but still elegant vibe. Basically, they’ll give you a similar elevated summer look for a fraction of the price. Normally retailing for $41, the Milanoo Mesh Heels Lace Up Stiletto Heel Sandals are only $27 right now.

I mean, you wouldn’t be wrong if you said they were exact replicas.

These lookalike sandals are a fraction of the price of the Bottega shoes — and they're on sale!

The wallet-friendly shoes come in a variety of colors, including bright green, cream, yellow, red and black.

Unlike a lot of other affordable designer dupes you can find on Amazon, these high-quality lace-up heels currently boast a 5 out of 5 stars rating. They’re also “way more comfortable” than you would imagine and fit true to size, which is honestly all anyone can ask for when buying any pair of stilettos online.

“Absolutely love these heels,” wrote one shopper. “I get so many compliments when I wear them. I ordered the red pair as well, I couldn’t help myself lol.”

Other reviews have noted that the material is good, and the quality is super nice. One even pointed out that the square open-toe fishnet design gives “so much air,” which is excellent for hot summer days.

So, if the Bottega sandals have been haunting your dreams, but you can’t drop the cash, definitely give these more affordable stiletto sandals a shot.
