😬 Everton defender injured on eve of new Premier League season
Sean Dyche's preparations for the new season have been handed a blow after Seamus Coleman was forced off midway through the first half of his side's final pre-season friendly.
The veteran defender started the game against Roma at right back but lasted just 32 minutes before he was forced off through injury, replaced by fellow veteran Ashley Young.
In potentially bad news for Dyche and co., Coleman headed straight down the tunnel for treatment.
As it stands, the Republic of Ireland international joins Jarrad Branthwaite as a doubt for the opening game of the season, which sees the Merseyside outfit take on Brighton.
To make matters worse, the Toffees trail Roma 1-0 at the break.
