A house that’s not your grandmother’s cookie-cutter Victorian has landed on the real estate market in Hudson, Wisconsin, for $1.1 million.
And trust us, it’s hard to miss.
“Your dream house has room for all of your friends and fun activities! 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms in historic downtown Hudson,” the listing on Zillow.com says. “Can easily be converted to stately single family residence, current use is licensed Airbnb.”
The hot pink house sticks out like a sore thumb on the outside and takes it up 100 notches with the color scheme inside. The 5,611-square-foot house has a Barbie theme running through it, but the style is more Greta Gerwig meets Tim Burton, in an almost goth-like way.
We’re talking black leather decor, bubblegum pink walls, Playboy bunnies, flamingos and so much more.
Pretty sure that’s a stripper pole in one of the bedrooms as well.
The house caught the attention of Zillow Gone Wild, a Facebook page and X — formally known as Twitter — account that highlights unique houses on the real estate market. People on social media were either all in … or way the heck out.
“This is impressive. I admire the collection of decor and furnishings,” one person commented on Facebook.
“Wow!! The pink is so hard on the eyes,” another noted.
“I’d totally change it into a Sanrio house!!” someone expressed.
“With, um, a stripper pole?” one person pointed out on X.
“Dream house,” another said.
“Some bold decisions were made!” someone tweeted.
“The goth Barbie vibes we’ve been waiting for,” another person said.
Hudson is about 30 miles east of Minneapolis.
