Oilers' Ryan Nugent-Hopkins out at least 2 games with hand injury
The Edmonton Oilers will test their infamous depth in the next couple of games with the team announcing on Sunday that centre Ryan Nugent-Hopkins will be out with a hand injury.

When the forward suffered his injury is uncertain as he played over 18 minutes on Saturday against the Vegas Golden Knights — a 4-2 win. Sam Gagner is expected to take his spot at centre.
The fact that the injury appears to be a short-term issue should provide some peace of mind for the team currently at the top of the Pacific division. With stars Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl providing the majority of the offence, Nugent-Hopkins has been able to cement his role as the best option beyond that duo as of late.
The Oilers face the Arizona Coyotes on Sunday and the high-powered Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday.
Nugent-Hopkins has scored five goals and 15 points through 25 games this season.
