Early fantasy pickups for Week 4: Terrelle Pryor tops list

If only Hue Jackson would have allowed Terrelle Pryor to handle kicking duties at Miami, things might have ended differently for the Browns. We’ll never know. Pryor did pretty much everything for Cleveland on Sunday. He spent time behind center as a rotational QB, completing three passes for 35 yards, plus he led his team in receiving, snagging eight balls for 144. Naturally, Pryor also ran the ball four times for 21 yards, delivering Cleveland’s only rushing score. Of course he did.

Pryor is the clear top option in his team’s receiving corps at the moment, with Corey Coleman injured and Josh Gordon suspended for another week. He’s also a wide receiver getting snaps at quarterback, which makes him an almost unfair fantasy weapon. He’s a priority add.

Washington’s Jamison Crowder found the end-zone for a second straight week, so keep him in your waiver plans, too. On Sunday, Crowder hauled in four balls for 78 yards on seven targets, with a 55-yard TD included. He’s up to 16 receptions and 25 targets on the year, yet he’s available in 80 percent of Yahoo fantasy leagues. Crowder has an appealing matchup with Cleveland on deck. Add as needed.

If instead you need help at running back, consider Detroit’s Dwayne Washington. He’s coming off a quiet afternoon at Green Bay (10 carries, 38 yards), but he’ll see the Bears and Eagles in Weeks 4 and 5. Game-flow should be much friendlier, and Washington is seeing plenty of snaps near the goal-line. He’s a flex-worthy fantasy option as we approach the bye weeks.
