Dundee 6-1 Airdrieonians: What the manager said
Dundee boss Tony Docherty tells BBC Scotland: "I knew how tricky a game it was going to be. A really tough opponent. You seen that in the way they came out for the second half. But huge testament to my players. That’s us now scored 27 goals in seven games.
"We had to be good against the ball, then when we opened up we had to be brave. And I think you seen that in absolute spades.
"I couldn’t be more pleased for the players. But I’ve got a group in there that are angry. Angry that they did not keep a clean sheet. That just shows you the type of group I’ve got in there.
"If I’m a Dundee fan watching that there, I’m absolutely purring. To watch your team be so good out of possession and also clinical, brave and showing quality on the ball, it’s a good time to be a Dundee fan."
