Drew Brees' son couldn't wait to meet Lamar Jackson at the Pro Bowl

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has been one of the best players in the NFL for quite some time. The 41-year-old Brees has played for 19 seasons, making the Pro Bowl 13 times. Along the way, he’s established himself as one of the best quarterbacks of all time.

But despite all of that, Brees’ kids are ready to move on to the next big thing. Turns out, Brees’ son, Baylen, is a huge Lamar Jackson fan.

Knowing this, Drew Brees decided to let Jackson know Baylen would be looking to meet him at the Pro Bowl.

Jackson responded to that message by saying he couldn’t wait to meet Baylen. Jackson then made it a reality Wednesday.

That’s pretty cool, and an indication of how much Jackson has already inspired the next batch of young football fans. It’s also pretty cool that Jackson embraced meeting Baylen — and other kids — and spent time making memories with them.

And while it might be sad for Brees to see his son dressed up in Ravens gear and rooting hard for another player, we can’t imagine he’s too bothered by it. It just goes to show that every kid thinks his or her dad isn’t cool, even when he’s one of the best quarterbacks of all time.
