Dovbyk returns to Roma from international duty to recover from latest injury

Artem Dovbyk is forced to leave Ukraine’s training camp and return to Italy after suffering a muscle injury.

As reported by Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, Dovbyk suffered an injury in the aftermath of the game against Juventus on Sunday.

The player was unable to train with the Ukraine squad ahead of their Nations League fixtures and, as a result, it was decided that he return to Italy immediately.

Biafora claims the injury does not appear too serious.

Roma will try to have him recover fully for the match against Genoa after the international break.

The player is already on his flight back to Rome after undergoing tests with the national team.
