Dortmund youngster Youssoufa Moukoko joins Nice on loan

Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that striker Youssoufa Moukoko will join French side Nice on a season-long loan.

Expectations were high for Moukoko when he burst into the Dortmund team at just 15 years of age, four years ago.

But things haven’t quite progressed as expected for the teenager, who has been a frustrating figure for the Schwarzgelben ever since.

And having now been told he is surplus to requirements under Nuri Şahin, the Germany international has gone to the Ligue 1 side for the remainder of the campaign.

Nice lost their opening game of the season against Auxerre last weekend.
