Domantas Sabonis showed why he received the longest odds in the "NBA 2K" Players Tournament in his first game Sunday against Montrezl Harrell.
In the early going, the Pacers forward, playing as his own team, acknowledged he was "terrible" and didn't know what he was doing.
Worse, Sabonis looked awful using the virtual version of himself, accidentally double-clutching consecutive first-quarter layups.
"Pull him out the game, coach," Sabonis said after the first miss.
"I need to get him out the game," Sabonis said after the second, his desperation rising.
The competition began Friday with half of its first-round matchups taking place that evening. Sabonis and Harrell are competing in Sunday's opener.
Sabonis trailed 14-8 after the first quarter, though it could have been much worse if the computer didn't haul in a series of offensive rebounds for him and some accidental post moves didn't work out.

Harrell pulled away, though, with his Clippers running up a lead of more than 20 points midway through the third quarter. He wound up winning 73-51.
