Disney fan reveals why there are no Starbucks at Disney World parks: ‘How did I not know this?’

Starbucks at Disney World isn’t like it is in the rest of the world.

In the last few months, Disney fans have taken to TikTok with their biggest park “secrets.” Users on the app have shared their tricks for getting free FastPasses, their most bizarre snack food discoveries and even a guide to using a little-known, in-park doggy daycare.

Now, Disney fans have a new reason to be surprised. That’s thanks to TikToker Max Kennedy, who broke down the biggest “hidden” detail about Starbucks at Disney World.

The main takeaway: You won’t see the word “Starbucks” in too many places. As Kennedy explained, each “Starbucks” location has its own unique name — based on its location.

For example, the “Starbucks” at Animal Kingdom is actually called Creature Comforts. The chain serves Starbucks coffee drinks and Disney-themed snacks — but, it’s disguised so it fits in with the surrounding park.

“Each location is themed to the land that it’s in,” Kennedy added.

He went on to explain that Magic Kingdom’s “Starbucks” is actually called Main Street Bakery. As he pointed out, that location also uses a vintage Starbucks sign to help it “blend in.”

TikTokers — even some self-professed Disney fanatics — were taken aback by the news. Many wrote that they’d never noticed that were no “normal” Starbucks locations at the parks.

“Wait I didn’t know this and I call myself a Disney fan,” one commenter wrote.

“Wow, I never knew that,” another added.

“How did I not know this going to these places?” another asked.

Ultimately, it seems these different names are due to the fact that, technically, these aren’t “true” Starbucks locations. Instead, they’re Disney World cafés that, technically, just happen to serve Starbucks coffee.
