The iconic Manchester rock band confirmed on Tuesday that they are reforming next summer after 15 years away.

Both Noel and Liam Gallagher are famous Manchester City fans and a great video from the City social accounts have cheekily pondered if the German international played a role in their reformation.

Gündoğan made his own return to Manchester last week having spent last season at Barcelona but returns to the Etihad for one Last Dance.

Perhaps it isn’t such a wild idea after all!
