Dez Bryant did a really cool thing for rescue pets in the Dallas area

Lost Paws Rescue of Texas was trying to get people to donate to their cause this weekend, asking people to buy a brown bag of food for the pets it has rescued.

Lost Paws Rescue probably didn’t plan on one person buying all the bags. It’s a safe bet they didn’t expect the generous soul to be one of the NFL’s best receivers.

According to a Facebook post by Lost Paws Rescue of Texas, Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant came into PetSmart in Southlake outside of Dallas on Saturday and bought the entire table of brown bags for the rescue pets. The group got a photo with Bryant as well:

That’s a lot of pet food going to a great cause.

Bryant seems to be a pet lover. Bryant said last year he gave up a pet monkey he had, after PETA asked for it to be transferred to a sanctuary, but Bryant said the monkey got “pure A1 treatment.” He apparently enjoys animals, and he just helped many homeless pets with one kind act.
