Demi Lovato cradles baby bump in new selfie and fans are freaking out

Does Demi Lovato have a baby on the way?

On Wednesday, the singer posted a mirror selfie of herself cradling a baby bump -- and it's understandably left her 75+ million Instagram followers in shock. In fact, at quick glance, it looks like the 27-year-old is a few months into the pregnancy.

However, the 27-year-old singer soon put pregnacy rumors to rest and clarified in the photo caption that the bump was actually for an upcoming role on "Will and Grace." Lovato announced in August that she would be guest starring in the show's upcoming final season.

"Real or fake?" the 27-year-old singer captioned the Instagram, alongside the hashtags #WillandGrace #MeetJenny."

Comments soon flooded Lovato's page, with many fans expressing their disbelief over the post. "I legit just had a heart attack," wrote one fan. Said another, "Do not toy with my heart like that Demi."

However, some fans clearly didn't get the memo, and instead shared their congratulations and well wishes with the former Disney Channel star.

"Congratulations. Keep your pregnancy safe and always take care of your self! Youll be a great mother to that little bump," wrote one. Said another, "Omg... I’m so happy for you if it’s real D!!! You deserve it. Babies are gods biggest blessings to us all."

Lovato may not be expecting a bundle of joy anytime soon, but she did recently mark a relationship milestone. Last week, she went Instagram-official with new boyfriend Austin Wilson.
