David Ross feeling the love from Cubs before 'Dancing with the Stars' finale
With David Ross hopeful about wrapping up his second championship in seven months, this time on “Dancing With the Stars,” his former teammates with the Chicago Cubs are sending their support from the baseball world.
Ross — the unlikely finalist in the ABC competition — will dance for the last time Monday night, with the results coming Tuesday. This wasn’t lost on his former Cubs teammates, who made sure was feeling the love. It’s a testament to how much the former backup catcher was adored in the Cubs clubhouse:

Ross is unquestionably having the most exciting first year of retirement for any career .229 hitter. He’s been hired by ESPN as an analyst, got a front-office job with the Cubs, released a book and turned his surprising “Dancing With the Stars” selection into a ton of national exposure.
If he can win “Dancing with the Stars” — which won’t be easy against pop star Normani Kordei and NFL running back Rashad Jennings — then Ross might not just be the Cubs’ beloved Grandpa Rossy anymore. He might belong to the whole country.
