Date set for Magpies' Carabao Cup quarter-final against Brentford

The Magpies beat Chelsea 2-0 to book their place in the last eight of the competition for the third year in a row, having earlier seen off Nottingham Forest and AFC Wimbledon in the second and third rounds respectively.

They will now face the Bees at St. James' Park for a place in the two-legged semi-final, with that game now confirmed for 7:45pm GMT on Wednesday, 18th December.

The tie will also be broadcast live on Sky Sports+.
