D3 lineman catches blocked extra point, runs in for conversion

We got ourselves a fat guy two-point conversion in Division III college football over Labor Day weekend. And it was glorious.

MacMurray College offensive lineman Xadrian Wilkins scored two points for his team after Rockford University blocked the extra point. Watch how he just looked up and realized the ball was coming directly to him off the deflection.

Wilkins, a senior, is listed at 6-0, 350. He’s clearly hard to take down as evidenced by that rumble into the end zone. The Rockford defenders had no chance, though we’re a little surprised they reacted so quickly. We may be too surprised about what happened to not go after Wilkins until he got into the end zone.

The conversion ended up being the winning points, too. It put MacMurray up 15-14 and the school went on to win 22-14.
