Cymru Premier round-up: Newtown seal successive wins

Newtown 2-1 Cardiff Met: Newtown sealed back-to-back wins for the first time in the 2024-25 campaign courtesy of a hard-fought victory over Cardiff Met. Josh Lock opened the scoring early on before George Hughes added a second in the 75th minute, with Ryan Reynolds' late effort for the visitors reducing the deficit late on.

Bala Town 3-0 Aberystwyth Town: Bala Town returned to winning ways with a convincing triumph over Aberystwyth Town. Aeron Edwards, Hussein Mehasseb and Nathan Burke all netted in the opening half as the north Wales side ended their three-game winless run in style.
