Iskra Lawrence is known for being herself, unapologetically — from posting unedited photos on her Instagram with the hashtag #celluLIT to encouraging self-love in others with her body-positive platform everyBODYwithiskra. But now the curvy model’s mother, Wilma, 50, is getting in on the act, starring alongside her 27-year-old daughter in Aerie’s latest swimwear campaign.
Acting as a model and spokesperson for the brand that has created a movement called #AerieREAL, Lawrence has long been a star of the intimates brand’s campaigns — all photos for which are unretouched. And while fans have fallen in love with the way that Lawrence has shown her beautiful body, they’re just as excited to see where she got it from.

“I got it from my mama!” Lawrence wrote in an Instagram post, where she shared a couple of the campaign photos. However, she clarified, “forget the physical; I’m talking about all the morals and values she instilled in me.”
The best part of the caption is Lawrence reassuring fans that, “yes my mom’s #unretouched too.”
Lawrence’s followers have provided an outpouring of love and support for Wilma, some commenters even questioning if she’s the model’s sister rather than mom. Most have reflected, though, on what appears to be the beautiful ease of their relationship.
“Wow your mom is absolutely gorgeous as well,” one fan wrote. “It’s easy to see where you get both your looks and confidence.” Another thanked Wilma for “raising such a kick ass daughter.”
The campaign also includes photos of Aerie’s other spokeswomen — Yara Shahidi and Aly Raisman — posing alongside their mothers. All of the images are reminiscent of Ashley Graham’s Swimsuits for All campaign that she shot with her mom, Linda.
