We will share them here on the show. >> Lindsey: pro-palestinian protesters at the university of toronto are being told to clear out by 8 o'clock this morning or risk potential fines and arrests. >> Our lawyers tell us it is highly unlikely that the injunction will go through and they are prepareing a strong case to move forward. >> Protesters gave the university their counteroffer yesterday, but the two sides were not able to reach an agreement. The school says it will take all necessary legal steps including seeking an order from the ontario superior court of justice to dismantle the camp. It's the deadline approaches, they are getting their legal defence ready ahead of a possible injunction >> Everybody has the right to express themselves. There are some pillars and some history in the neighbourhood. >> Lindsey: at the university of ottawa, the statue of henry has been vandalized. He was a french-born catholic priest. His statue sits across from a pro-palestinian encampment at the school. The university has yet to comment. >> Search and rescue efforts have happening right now in rafah after idf attacks on a refugee camp sunday night. The palestine red crescent said many women and children have been killed. The idf says it will review the killings of civilians. This strike comes two days after the international court of justice ordered israel to immediately halt its military operation in rafah. Hamas fired rockets toward tel aviv over the weekend. The first long-range attacks since january. Hams says the attack was in response to the massacre of civilians >> A solidarity rally is expected to be held at a jewish school's elementary over the weekend. >> Is this a hate crime or a terrorist act? It is too early in the investigation to say whether it is or not. >> Lindsey: toronto police have increased their presence in certain neigbourhoods after this incident. This happened at an elementary school in north york early saturday morning. Police found evidence of gunfire includeing a bullet hole in the building. No injuries have been reported. >> Families are getting an early

warning about the danger of drownings during the summer months. On average, one child ends up in the emergency room every day during the summers from drownings or near drownings. Children between the ages of 1 and 4 are most at risk. The study was set to be officially released in september about one of the doctors involved. >>> Tomorrow for the first time ever, a question will be asked in an indigenous language inside the ontario legislature. Ndp deputy leader will rise from the chamber to ask the question. And when that happens, it will be the first time a question is asked, interpreted and transcribed in a language other than english and french in the legislature in ontario. This is what I'm talking about today. There's shifting winds that is driving the smoke from B.C. to alberta. We are seeing a brand-new air quality advisory after everything had been lifted last week. There is a pattern change. Areas that were very wet last week and cooler are about to enter a period of dry, hot weather. That could have an influence on fires in the region. We also have that pattern change happening in ontario, québec and atlantic canada. It is a very wet start to the week with strong storms and damaging winds. All of those details after the break. Already this morning, there have been thunderstorms overnight that moved through areas -- in behind that, we have a big weather system at the surface, but coupled with lower pressure up in the atmosphere. Higher up for 18,000 feet up. Driving this area of lower pressure. The trough that is swinging through ontario and québec. What that will do is prompt temperatures to fall after today. This ridge builds in. This is going to allow temperatures in parts of alberta, saskatchewan and manitoba to be significantly warmer than last week. We are talking 10 to 12° above what we saw last week. It was a really cold weekend for some in alberta, for example. It will be much warmer today as we see highs trending above seasonal in parts of alberta and saskatchewan for the next three days or so. For manitoba, it's going to take a couple more days before that warm air arrives closer to wents wednesday for you. Atlantic canada, good morning. We are seeing some warnings in effect this morning. Not for any active weather that is happening right now. Theres a few flurries and possible showers happening along the north coast of newfoundland. Winds are going to pick up for a couple of regions. In terms of temperatures, it's fairly mild for the next couple of days. Corner brook, you will hit 19 by wednesday. Labrador city, very warm today, but dropping dramatically as we head toward wednesday. If you are waking up in the channel-port aux basques area, there's . >> Kelsey: today, ahead of that, it's variable cloudy throughout the day. Lots of sunshine expected for newfoundland and labrador this afternoon. A little more cloud particularly in areas of southern and western new brunswick. As we go into tonight, a few showers are possible for northern communities, but it's fairly light. It's overnight as we head into tomorrow morning that the heavier rain and thunderstorms will move in. This is the outlook for 24 hours from now. You can see the thunderstorms pushing across southern nova scotia up toward the fundy coast, new brunswick, the gaspe peninsula, northern québec and labrador. These storms will have a lot of lightning and thunder with them. Heavy downpours. Once this front arriveness newfoundland, the winds pick up and will be gusting to 100km/h. Now coming up, I am going to track that front where it is now and who is expected to see heavy rain later on this morning. That's coming up.
