Cyborg swarmed in early and unloaded on her foe. Lansberg clinched soon after, but Cyborg did well to utilize the knees from that position before taking her opponent down and securing mount to apply the ground and pound. Lansberg was able to make it back to the feet, but ended up eating a bunch of punches before being pressed against the cage for more punishment.

In the second, Cyborg continued to batter away at her opponent, throwing a series of punches then consecutive body kicks that left Lansberg covering up. Following a clinch, Cyborg was able to bring the fight to the ground again and threw various punches to her downed opponent. As she stood over Lansberg, Cyborg landed blow after blow before the referee stepped in to bring a halt to the contest, signaling the Brazilian powerhouse as the winner.

As Cybrog has continued her dominance in MMA, what has remained on the minds of MMA fans is if she will ever get the opportunity to face Ronda Rousey in what will undoubtedly be the biggest women's MMA fight of all time. When asked about it in her post-fight interview, Cyborg didn't mention her name, but surely left hope about a potential showdown with Rousey.

“I already have two belts at home,” Cyborg said. “I just want to put on superfights for my fans and make them happy.”

With the win at UFC Brasilia, Cyborg collects her second UFC victory. Each win came at a catchweight of 140 pounds.
