Of course Lane Kiffin follows a 'Tennessee Coach Kiffin' account on Twitter

Lane Kiffin’s Twitter activity is the gift that keeps on giving.

When we last left Lane, he was tweeting about rat poison and his former boss, Alabama coach Nick Saban. On Wednesday, he picked a fun new account to follow:

Yes, that is an account that, perhaps facetiously, pegs Kiffin as the next coach at Tennessee. Of course, Kiffin was the coach at Tennessee in 2009 but had a fiery — literally — exit from Knoxville to USC after a 7-6 record with the Vols. How Kiffin found the account is unknown, but he apparently thought highly enough of its content for it to bless his Twitter timeline.

Or he is just a high-level troll.

Kiffin, after, um, interesting tenures as head coach at USC and offensive coordinator at Alabama, is now the head coach at Florida Atlantic. The Owls are off to a decent 3-3 start in his first year with the program, while it seems pretty likely that Tennessee will move on from Butch Jones after the season.

Kiffin has goofed on Tennessee plenty in the past.

Even an inkling of Kiffin possibly being a candidate to return to Knoxville would be hilarious. Don’t let me down, coaching search season.
