'Coronation Street's Tilsley family reunion - on 'Hollyoaks'
Coronation Street father and son Brian and Nick Tilsley after almost 30 years - on Hollyoaks.
Former Corrie star Chris Quinten is joining the cast of the Channel 4 soap, as the father of Kyle Kelly, who is played by Adam Rickitt.
Quinten played Brian Tilsley - first husband of Gail Rodwell - on ITV soap Corrie from 1978 until 1989, when his character was stabbed. His son Nick Tilsley has been played by three actors over the years, including Hollyoaks star Rickitt from 1997 to 2004.

Rickitt, 41, said: “This is one of the more surreal experiences of my career. After 23 years, I finally get to meet my first onscreen dad, which is truly bizarre.
Quinten, 62, added:“Working with Adam after first playing ‘his’ dad more than thirty years ago is a dream come true, it’s a brilliant piece of soap nostalgia, which I hope everyone enjoys.”
Quinten will play Kyle’s dad Mark and will be joined by Diana Weston - star of 90s sitcom The Upper Hand who will play Kyle’s mum, Carole.
Rickitt said: “It’s an honour to have such well-established actors like Chris and Diana come in to play my parents and I’ve really enjoyed the scenes we’ve filmed so far. Plus at least having parents in the show means Kyle has an excuse to regress into adolescence, which comes quite easily to him.”
Quinten added: “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the scenes I’ve filmed so far at Hollyoaks, I already love the show and all of the cast, crew and production staff are fantastic and so friendly.
“I think Mark and Carole will really give viewers an insight into why Kyle became the man he is today, which has been a lot of fun to play and I’m looking forward to doing more.”

He married Good Morning Britain presenter Katy Fawcett in 2014.
