Cody Garbrandt Wants His Due Respect After UFC Fight Night 88 Knockout (Video)

Cody Garbrandt was undefeated heading into his UFC Fight Night 88 headlining bout with Thomas Almeida, who was also undefeated. His relatively lesser amount of experience – eight bouts to Almeida's 21 – left him lacking in one category… respect.

Garbrandt wasn't even in the Top 15 rankings of the UFC's bantamweight division, while Almeida sat at No. 7. That's likely to change after Garbrandt knocked Almeida out in the first round.

“I deserve some respect. You’re talking about a 21-0 guy who has just run through everybody and knocked them out in under three minutes. Let me get at least get in the top ten (opponent).”
