All the while, the “ICU” singer and Bel-Air actress remains refreshingly real about her experience in the entertainment industry. And, naturally, that authenticity can be felt in everything else she opens up about, including her beauty routine.

“Anything that I speak on, I really do feel passionately about. I think my fans know that I don't lead them astray,” she tells PEOPLE.

Today, she’s partnering with Shea Moisture for its first-ever antiperspirant and deodorant range, including underarm sticks that tackle a range of skin concerns, from hydration to rough skin, plus a plant-based, aluminum and baking-soda-free whole-body deodorant in cream and stick variants.

It’s a brand she’s put her trust in before. “I fell in love with SheaMoisture when [focusing on] caring for my natural hair. I apply a lot of heat and do a lot of extensions, weaves and wigs. I needed something that was going to [nourish] my real hair. That's when I got into the brand, and I’ve been a big fan ever since.”

And it aligns with her beauty philosophy now. “There's always some new thing, but I feel like I want what really works. I don't have the time to be doing all that experimentation. I like an intentional beauty routine and intentional self-care routine. I’m not focused on whatever's trending at that time, just products that I trust. I feel like any product that they have, I would trust.”

Ahead, Jones shares her beauty faves from head to toe.

Whole Body Deodorant

“Being on the go, I really need something that'll last all day,” Jones says. “I don't have the time to be carrying all types of products with me from studio, to rehearsal, to stage, to interview.” I'm very much Capricorn [in that] when something is done, I’m moving onto the next stage, and I like products that move with me.”

Enter: SheaMoisture. “It really does have that long-lasting wear. I am a true fan.” And for those fans at her meet-and-greets who always ask why she smells so good, Jones says this has a little something to do with it. “My favorite scent is the Coconut & Hibiscus. Of course I'm Coco, so I naturally feel like this product spoke to me.”

“Anything that a Black girl is working on, I'm going to purchase. But I feel like with Winnie [Harlow], she's so friendly and lively and I feel like her products really relay that,” Jones says.

Her favorite? The full-body spray. “I use that a lot. I love that when I put on her sunscreen I don't look gray or ashy or anything. It just makes me glow and I really enjoy that. I think she just did a great job and it's a great product.”

“This was a product I found through social media,” Jones shares. “I love my brows; I always have been super specific about them, so I'm always curious when a girl has a good brow, what she’s got going on. A lot of people use this gel — I didn't even know you use gel on your brows! But then I thought about it: if I lay my baby hairs, I should lay these brows.”

“I went to a Black dermatologist and one of the products that they told me needed to be in my routine was sunscreen. I said, ‘I am Black, the sun doesn't affect me.’ And they said, ‘Girl, wrong.’ Ever since then, sunscreen has been a part of my daily routine,” says Jones.

Her everyday protection for her face: this portable stick. “This is my on the go. It's something that I can easily reapply. I like that it's tiny, it fits in my purse and it's clear, so I don't have to worry about [a cast].”

Jones admits, “I was intrigued by what the heck a ‘Dew Drop’ is, but I also love to glow. I love to shine, especially on stage.” The star adds, “That's a big part of my finishing touches: how sparkly can I really get? I'm into anything dewy. I feel like it [achieves] that really well.”
