School started last week and this year, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools teachers received some different school supplies.
Trauma kits to help educators treat students if they’re stuck in a classroom during an active shooter or other violent situation were given to teachers. Over 11,000 bags were handed out in every full-time classroom.
