Cleveland Monsters Recall Pavel Cajan From Cincinnati
The Cleveland Monsters have recalled goaltender Pavel Cajan from the ECHL's Cincinnati Cyclones, it was announced Tuesday.
Cajan, who is in his third pro season, has seen five games with the Cyclones, posting a record of 1-3-1 to go along with a 2.61 GAA and a .910 SV%. He's also made one appearance with Cleveland, collecting the win while posting a .920 SV%.
Having joined the Monsters in 2022, Cajan has made 45 career AHL regular season appearances, putting together a record of 17-18-6, a 3.36 GAA and a .889 SV%. Prior to making the jump, Cajan played junior in Czechia and the OHL.
Having gotten better with each passing year, Cajan has proven to be able to handle the AHL level and should be a difference maker for the team.
