The Los Angeles Clippers slapped around the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night, blitzing LeBron James and company on either side of halftime and leading by as many as 27 points on their way to a blowout win. After taking care of business in just three quarters, the Clips’ starters got to take the bulk of the final frame off … and for All-Star point guard Chris Paul, that meant getting the opportunity to make the kind of true and meaningful personal connection that only comes when you share a selfie:

Shouts to Paul — who finished with 16 points, nine assists, six rebounds and a steal without a turnover in 25 minutes — for not only showing his appreciation for fans in Clipper gear sitting courtside in enemy territory, but also being willing to turn back a second take on the snapshot. Commitment to craft, taking the time to get it right, and putting in the extra effort to make sure he gets the assist: that’s CP3 in a nutshell. All that was missing, really, is a groin shot. Let’s count our blessings that it didn’t come to that.
