Chris Kreider Dealing With Upper-Body Injury
Chris Kreider will not play in the New York Rangers’ Monday night game against the St. Louis Blues due to an upper-body injury.
Kreider did not practice with the team this morning and was listed as day-to-day.
It’s unclear if Kreider will miss more time with this apparent injury or if it is just precautionary for him not to play tonight.
Brett Berard will take Kreider’s spot in the lineup after being called up from the Hartford Wolf Pack. Matt Rempe is also back with the Rangers and will slide in on New York’s fourth line.
Through the first 19 games of the season, Kreider has recorded nine goals and nine points while averaging 17:22 minutes per game.
