There will be no NFL football games for months, but hopefully we get see a fun competition this summer.

Once again, an NFL player has said he could defeat the Chiefs’ Tyreek Hill in a footrace. This time it was Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf, who was interviewed by TMZ Sports in a video that was shared Monday.

Metcalf was asked about the race ahead of the Pro Bowl in which Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons beat Hill. Metcalf noted Parsons’ speed ... and Hill’s effort level in that particular race.

“I mean he’s pretty fast, but I thought Tyreek wasn’t trying that hard,” Metcalf told TMZ. “So who knows who is the faster person in the NFL?”

Metcalf was then asked whether he could beat Hill in a race.

“Yeah. I can beat Tyreek in a race,” Metcalf said. “Yeah.”

Do you think you’re the fastest man in the NFL, Metcalf was asked.

“Yes I do,” Metcalf said.

Hill saw that video, and took to Twitter to challenge ... former Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt to a race. Hill has done that in the past, too.

Bolt, the 35-year-old eight-time Olympic Gold medalist, toyed with Hill in a Twitter message. But Hill, 27, responded with some fun trash talk of his own.
