Sonia Bompastor's Chelsea are just minutes away from taking control of the Barclay's Women's Super League.

Locked in a 0-0 affair with current league leaders Manchester City, the Blues finally took the lead at Stamford Bridge thanks to Mayra Ramírez.

The 25-year-old Colombian did incredibly well to first shrug off Alanna Kennedy before beating Alex Greenwood into space to slot past Ayaka Yamashita.

Chelsea then hit a second three minutes later through Norwegian winger Guro Reiten's expertly taken finish to likely seal all three points on the night.
