Juan Cuadrado has completed his move from Chelsea to Juventus after signing a deal with the Italian side until 2020.

Juventus confirmed the news in a statement released on their website on Monday evening, and revealed they will pay Chelsea £17.3m in three instalments for the Colombia international who has spent this season on loan in Turin.

The statement read: "Juventus announces that, following the meeting of the conditions provided by the contract, its obligation to definitively acquire the registration rights of Juan Cuadrado from Chelsea became due.

"The permanent transfer fee of €20 million is to be paid in three annual instalments starting from the 2017/2018 financial year.

"The 28-year-old forward has signed a contract that ties him to the Bianconeri until 30 June 2020."

Cuadrado joined Chelsea from Fiorentina in a £23.3m deal in February 2015 after impressing at the 2014 World Cup.

But after making just four Premier League starts under former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, he moved on loan to Juve before returning last summer where new Blues boss Antonio Conte expressed a desire to keep the winger at the club.

"I am pleased to train him and when today you can have a substitution of Cuadrado and Pedro to replace Willian and [Victor] Moses, it is good for Chelsea," Conte said.

"Cuadrado is a Chelsea player and I hope he remains one."

However, the Colombian star went on to seal a three-year loan move back to Juve last August and has now made the switch permanent.
