England's squad for the European Under-19 Championships has been confirmed, with six players from Chelsea and two from Fulham representing the Young Lions.

Head coach Keith Downing's 18-man squad includes six Stamford Bridge youngsters - Jay Dasilva, Dujon Sterling, Trevoh Chalobah, Reece James, Jacob Maddox and Mason Mount - with the latter four having featured in the Blues' FA Youth Cup Final-winning team.

James could win his second international trophy of the summer after lifting the Toulon Tournament and earning a place in the best XI of the competition.

Chelsea's west London rivals Fulham are represented by Tayo Edun and Ryan Sessegnon in midfield, while there is also room for Arsenal's Josh Dasilva.

England, who have finished runners-up in the competition twice before, head to Georgia full of confidence following the U20s' World Cup win in South Korea.

The Young Lions' first match in Group B is against Bulgaria in Tblisi on July 3, with tough matches against Netherlands (July 6) and Germany (July 9) after that.

The top two teams in the group progress to the semi-finals, so Downing's side will have to get off to a good start to avoid a potential group decider against the Germans.
