Chelsea confirm Strasbourg loan move for defender Caleb Wiley
Chelsea confirmed on Sunday that defender Caleb Wiley has departed for a season-long loan.
The American defender will join Strasbourbourg for 2024/25 after arriving at Stamford Bridge last month.
Before signing for the Blues, Wiley played for MLS side Atlanta United. During his time in the United States, he made 85 senior appearances, registering six goals and seven assists.
The 19-year-old recently represented the United States at the Olympics and will join the Ligue 1 side.
Chelsea are continuing to loan players off to make room for new signings.
Earlier on Sunday, the club confirmed Pedro Neto’s arrival, while Conor Gallagher is expected to be the next departure.
