Chelsea Clinton talks about her friendship with Ivanka Trump

Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton joined The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where she spoke about her friendship with current first daughter Ivanka Trump. Colbert asked, “Could you call her up and say, ‘Hey, maybe no war with North Korea.’ Or anything like that?”

Though Colbert was clearly joking, Clinton wasn’t.

“I certainly am just really sad that we’re at a point in time where that even has to be said,” she said.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs weeknights at 11:35 on CBS.
