Charlottetown Adds US-Born Blueliner Lanza From BCHL

The Charlottetown Islanders have inked a deal with US-born defenseman Jonathan Lanza from the BCHL.

Lanza, 19, had six points (2+4) across 25 games with the BCHL's Surrey Eagles this season, and is the first Eagles player to make the jump to the QMJHL.

The six-foot right shot defender was previously committed to Yale University, but it appears he's rescinded that commitment.
