Celtic players hoping to achieve their dreams - Hayes

Caitlin Hayes is hoping the international break won't halt Celtic's momentum.

Elena Sadiku's side picked up their fourth win in a row with a 2-1 victory over Glasgow City on Sunday.

The result keeps them within a point of SWPL leaders Rangers and moves them three clear of third-placed City.

"I think if we're honest we dominated from start to finish," Hayes told CelticTV.

"Overall I think it was a great team performance. It wasn't necessarily our best footballing effort, but in terms of our fight, desire, passion to win the ball back when we gave it away, that was second to none.

"If we can continue to play like that we can achieve what everyone in this team dreams of.

"Credit to Glasgow City, they did well, but thankfully we came out on top.

"We've worked hard, each member of the team is pushing the other to get in the starting squad.

"Momentum is with us and hopefully we can keep hold of it over the international break."
