Celtic beat Rangers 2-1 to cut gap at top of SWPL

Natasha Flint opened the scoring in the fifth minute

Natasha Flint's first-half double took Celtic to within a point of SWPL leaders Rangers.

Flint scored at the second attempt after being put through on goal and later capitalised on Tessel Middag's mis-hit clearance to lash in the second.

Jane Ross turned in Rangers' second-half reply.

"It's massive. We got bodies in the box at all times to get on the end of the crosses," Flint told BBC Alba.

"It was a massive game plan for us. We deserved the three points."

Glasgow City remain level on points with second-placed Celtic but with an inferior goal difference.
