Fresh off of a 30-point season with the BCHL's Chilliwack Chiefs and the motion allowing CHL players to maintain college eligibility, Olivier Beaulieu became one of the first players to jump ship to the QMJHL.

Now, he becomes the second to leave, following Chicoutimi's Patrick Murphy.

Beaulieu, 20, had amassed three points (1+2) across 18 games with the Shawinigan Cataractes. He hadn't dressed for the team since January 19th.

He heads back to his former team, the Chiefs, still without a college commitment.
