Cardale Jones pokes fun at infamous quote while graduating from Ohio State

Former Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones had a heck of an idea for his graduation from Ohio State.

Jones, who currently plays for the Buffalo Bills, infamously tweeted in 2012 that “Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain’t come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS.”

It’s a quote that Jones may never live down. So he had some fun with it while walking at graduation. Take a look.

Jones, who started the last three games of the 2014 season as Ohio State won the first College Football Playoff, became the first member of his immediate family to graduate from college. After leaving school early following the 2015 season, Jones kept taking classes at Ohio State.

With a potential long pro career ahead of him, Jones could have easily put off finishing degree until after he was done with football or even given up altogether. Instead, he stuck with it. That’s even more awesome than what he put on his cap.
