Canucks acquire Dalpe, Welsh from Hurricanes

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) -- The Vancouver Canucks acquired right wing Zac Dalpe and center Jeremy Welsh from the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday night for right wing Kellan Tochkin and a fourth-round pick next year.

Dalpe split last season between the Hurricanes and Charlotte Checkers of the AHL. He had a goal and two assists in 10 games with Carolina. Welsh had an assist in five games for the Hurricanes last season.

Tochkin spent last season with Missouri of the Central Hockey League.
