Budweiser releases tribute video for Dale Earnhardt Jr.

If you’re a Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan — or heck, just a NASCAR fan in general — it’s going to be impossible not to have the feels when you watch Budweiser’s tribute ad.

Junior’s longtime sponsor released the video Tuesday in anticipation of his final Cup Series race Sunday at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Take a look.

Junior said he appreciated the song choice in the video.

Budweiser was Junior’s first Cup sponsor and was on the car for the entirety of his career with Dale Earnhardt Inc. When Junior moved to Hendrick Motorsports in 2008, Budweiser also left DEI and went to the then-Gillett Evernham Motorsports.

Junior scored 17 of his 26 career Cup victories in a Budweiser car. The Axalta car he’s driving on Sunday is designed to mimic the No. 8 Budweiser car he drove for DEI.
