Bryan Cristante no longer untouchable: Manu Koné threatens his place in Roma’s line-up

Bryan Cristante is no longer deemed untouchable in Roma’s hierarchy.

The Italian midfielder’s place, in fact, is reportedly under threat following the arrival of Manu Koné.

In recent weeks, much had been said about Cristante and his relationship with Daniele De Rossi.

The 29-year-old was for many years Roma’s most consistent player in terms of appearances made, playing the most minutes among all midfielders in Serie A last season.

With the arrival of Koné, Il Tempo writes that De Rossi could soon start favoring the Frenchman over Cristante in the team’s formation.

Additionally, Baldanzi and Pisilli could also slot in for Cristante, drastically decreasing his minutes over the course of this season.
