Finally, a display every Manchester United was waiting for, especially after the arrival of Ruben Amorim. A 4-0 victory over Everton showcased that the team has a lot to offer but only if they can manage to keep doing it week in and week out.

The Red Devils will next lock horns with Arsenal in the Premier League this week. It will be a testing game considering the quality of the opponents.

Defence

Andre Onana did well in the previous game and he must carry on the confidence in the game against Arsenal this week. Noussair Mazraoui has adapted well in his new role and he is expected to retain his spot in the lineup.

While Matthijs de Ligt continues in the three-man backline, Ruben Amorim will be forced to make a change as Lisandro Martinez is suspended after being booked for the fifth time. To fill his position, Harry Maguire should be called up and be deployed on the left side.

Midfield

Kobbie Mainoo is also suspended for this clash for the same reason as Martinez. Though Mason Mount could be a good attacking option, the Portuguese coach might prefer Manuel Ugarte in the middle of the park alongside Casemiro.

Amad Diallo is nailing with his performance as the right-back and there is no question over his selection. On the other side, Luke Shaw could get the nod ahead of Diogo Dalot.

Attack

Bruno Fernandes was seen with an ice pack on his ankle and his availability is under the radar. In his absence, either Joshua Zirkzee or Marcus Rashford should fill his role.

Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund are also likely to mark their return and form the attacking pack.

Leny Yoro (foot), Jonny Evans (knock) and Victor Lindelof (groin) are confirmed absentees due to injuries.
