Just as the Boston Bruins got Zdeno Chara back after a six-game absence, they lost Matt Beleskey for an extended period of time.

Following the Bruins’ 4-3 overtime win against the Florida Panthers Monday night, the team announced that Beleskey will miss the next six weeks due to a knee injury suffered against the Buffalo Sabres over the weekend.

Beleskey, who was seen Monday night in the press box sporting a brace on his right knee, is off to a tough start in his second year in Boston with two goals and five points in 24 games.
