Say what you will about Brad Marchand’s antics, but my word, the guy has some serious skills.

On Tuesday night, the Boston Bruins were leading the Ottawa Senators 3-1 in the third period when the elusive winger pulled off an unbelievable toe drag before setting up linemate David Pastrnak for an absolutely gorgeous goal.

Whether you’re a fan of the well-known NHL pest or not, take a few seconds to enjoy this thing of beauty.

Marchand completely turned Senators defenceman Dylan DeMelo inside out with this shifty manoeuvre and found Pastrnak who was staring at a yawning cage.

There’s no denying that the line of Marchand, Pastrnak and Patrice Bergeron may be the best in all of hockey, and it’s skilled plays like this which showcase their otherworldly chemistry.

Pastrnak has now scored ten goals in the month of October. As a result, the Czech Republic native has become the first Bruin to find the back of the net ten times in the tenth month of the year since Dave Dmitri Kvartalnov did in 1992, according to Sportsnet Stats. That total also ties Auston Matthews of the Toronto Maple Leafs for the league lead.

Boston’s top line combined for eight points in their 4-1 defeat of Ottawa.
