After the Boston Bruins defeated the Philadelphia Flyers on Dec. 7, John Tortorella ripped into the Original Six club for diving.

Here is what Tortorella said about the Bruins:

"Yeah, let me start. One thing I teach my team to do is not dive. Maybe I should start teaching them that. The way this has gone here, the way this (stuff) goes on, maybe I should start teaching them to dive."

On Monday after practice, Bruins head coach Joe Sacco responded to Tortorella's criticisms by defending his players.

Here is what Sacco said on the matter:

"That's not our group. That's not our team. That's not how we play. That's not what we're about."

Clearly, Sacco disagrees with Tortorella's comments. He certainly will gain more respect from his players after standing up for them.
