Broncos signing Will Montgomery to one-year deal
The Denver Broncos are signing center Will Montgomery to a one-year contract, the team announced.
When Montgomery was cut by the Washington Redskins, they listed him a failed physical designation.
A ninth-year pro, Montgomery had started the past three seasons.
The Redskins created $1.92 million against the salary cap by releasing Montgomery, who signed a four-year, $12 million contract in 2012.
Montgomery played collegiately at Virginia Tech.
A former Carolina Panthers seventh-round draft pick who has also played for the New York Jets, Montgomery has started 63 of 90 career games in eight NFL seasons.
